The Sexiest Women Alive
|
|
| Dean
S. Planet: Where were you born? |
| Dana Hamm: North Carolina
|
| Dean S. Planet: What were your high school years like? |
| Dana Hamm: I wasn't incredibly enthusiastic about school, but I tried to make the best out of it. I changed schools a few times along the way, transferring from private to public school and visa versa. I'm a free spirit, so I never really understood all the clicks. I had enough good friends and interesting activities to get me through, but overall I thought high school was petty. |
| Dean S. Planet: Who did you admire growing up? |
| Dana Hamm: I admired my Dad…and I still do. |
Dean S. Planet: Here is a question I'm sure you get a lot. What is your ethnic
background? |
| Dana Hamm: I'm Irish/Scottish, Welch, and Native American. |
| Dean S. Planet: How did you break into modeling? |
|
|
| Dean S. Planet: Who gave you the title of "Sexiest Woman Alive"? |
Dana Hamm: Michael Scott gave me the title. He said he'd photographed over 1,200
models, but no one fit the bill of "The Sexiest Woman Alive" until I came
along. It's very flattering! However, I don't see it. I think sexiest is all about one's personality rather than appearance. |
Dean S. Planet: You obviously have an amazing body and I love your gorgeous eyes and
lips, but what do you feel is your best physical feature? |
| Dana Hamm: That's such an embarrassing question :)
I could never answer that with a straight face. I'm pleased with what I see when I look in the mirror, but I don't have a favorite feature. I've always gotten a lot of compliments on my eyes, but I tend to favor my eyebrows. |
Dean S. Planet: Have you done any nude photoshoots? I have been through your site and
unfortunately couldn't find any! |
| Dana Hamm: No, I haven't. I feel my work is sexy enough without having to
expose it all. My images are very erotic and sensual, but in a
sophisticated way. Call me old-fashioned, but I think women are even sexier
when they leave a little something to the imagination. |

|
Dean S. Planet: The preview for your DVD 'Body Rockin' almost gave me a coronary. Do you
get crazy in the full length feature? I'm just curious... |
Dana Hamm: My DVD movie "Body Rockin" is very over-the-top HOT!! It was filmed over a
2-year period, so it's interesting and diverse. From the bedroom to the
beach...I'm in a variety of intriguing settings. There's something super
sexy for everyone: lingerie, swimsuit, military, fishing, shooting, golf,
and more. You'll get to watch me dance, pose, and answer all kinds of
provocative questions. I promise you'll love it! |
Dean S. Planet: How do you keep in such great shape?
Dana Hamm: I workout with weights 3 times a week and try to watch my diet. I know my body very well, so I'm well aware of my limits. I know exactly how much junk I can eat without gaining weight. I'm a southern girl, so I love to cook and eat. Luckily, I have a speedy metabolism, so I get away with murder. Most of the people in my family are thin, so I'm blessed to have good genetics on my side.
Dean S. Planet: What do you enjoy doing when you are not being "Sexiest Woman Alive"?
Dana Hamm: I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also love photography,
animals, traveling, and going to the movies. I have a few different collections, which include Orchids, knives and weaponry, European furniture, and pots/pans. For some reason I love buying unique kitchenware and cooking utensils. It's a fun obsession. |
| Dean S. Planet: What is a normal day like for you? |
Dana Hamm: Lots of phone calls, emails, and work on the computer. I'm usually busy
conversing with magazine editors and agents. Currently, I've been pursuing
an acting career, so I've been very busy exploring those avenues, taking acting classes, and trying to sort through potential movie roles. |
| Dean S. Planet: In your opinion, who is the #2 Sexiest Woman Alive? |
| Dana Hamm: There are so many sexy women out there who are beautiful and unique in their own ways. I could never choose just one. Sorry. |
Dean S. Planet: Are men usually intimidated by you in social settings? Just to let you know,
I wouldn't be. I would come up and buy you a drink, but that's just me. |
| Dana Hamm: I've been told that I'm intimidating, but I don't see how, because I'm such an easy-going person. I don't have a very approachable look, but I assure you that you can't judge a book by its cover. |
|
|
| Dean S. Planet: What is the worst pick up line you have ever been approached with? |
| Dana Hamm: No one has ever really used a cheesy line on me. I'm happy to say that most of the men who approach me are fairly well spoken. Guys will typically just start off by complimenting me or asking me if I'm a model. Otherwise, I try to distance myself from unwanted attention, so I don't make a habit of hanging out in bars and clubs. |
| Dean S. Planet: What do you look for in a man? |
| Dana Hamm: This is a loaded question and the answer is very complex, but I'll try to answer it. The qualities that I prefer in a man are confidence, ambition, passion, and being down-to-earth. I like a man who isn't trying to prove how macho his is all the time. I like a guy who is not afraid to be REAL. |
| Dean S. Planet: What is going to be your New Year's resolution for 2006? |
| Dana Hamm: To stop drinking so much Diet Pepsi. I'm so addicted to the stuff and I know it's not good for me. I guess it's my one big weakness. |
Dean S. Planet: And finally, where can DeansPlanet readers contact you and purchase your
goodies? |
